I ordered this shoe for wearing to work. I
stand on my feet for 8-9 hours each day and need good support
for my feet. This shoe is quite comfortable for standing and
walking all day. It would be nice if the Demetri came as a
slim width, as the narrow is a bit too wide for my foot.
Still, I am very pleased with my purchase. Overall I really
like this shoe. It looks nice and is comfortable and light. My
only complaint is that there is not much padding and if I walk
on small rocks I can feel them through the shoes. An insert
might fix that problem.

I bought these shoes as a general walking shoe. So far,
they're working out fine, though the sole is VERY thin (you
can feel some gaps in a brick sidewalk). I find that with
regular insoles, this stops being an issue (if it is one to
begin with). Vivian shoes. The title says it all. The pair I
purchased online showed the exact shoe I had and yet when I
received the shoes the stitching was a brownish/bronze color.
I was not happy about that as I would have prefered the
stitching to blend in with the shoe instead of standing out.
Otherwise the service was great, and shoe fits just as well as
the same shoe purchased at the Seven for all man kind store.
When I first put the shoes on, I thought they were a little
snug through the width but I didn't give up on them because I
have owned many real leather shoes and I know they will
stretch and loosen up with wear. I thought my first day
wearing them was going to be a miserable day but to my
surprise, they were really confortable all day long on the
first day. This is the best wearing pair of "new shoes" to get
used to. They didn't hurt or feel tight at all on the very
first time I wore them. They stretched to fit my feet
perfectly. They haven't stretched too big at all since then
either. I have owned many pairs of Sperry shoes and they are
still good value shoes. I have owned many pairs of the more
expensive Born shoes and these rate right there with them for
almost half the price of the Born shoes. I have owned numerous
pairs of Sperry Top-siders ever since I first went to boarding
school, where they are known as the shoe of choice, offering
comfort, class, and durability simultaneously. I recently
ordered a pair of Sperry Top-Sider Bluefish 2-Eye for my
girlfriend for her birthday because she found mine so
attractively alluring. She found hers so stylish and
comfortable that she bought another pair in a different color.
In both of our opinions, 7 for all man kind Vivian are the
obvious shoe to buy, offering the most for your money in
endurance, appearance, and comfort. |
